In a digital first world, we’ve gotten too comfortable staying at home, making us sicker (the equivalent of smoking 15 cigarettes a day) and lonelier (from 30 hours to only 10 hours per month socializing).

Picking, Planning, Waiting...

Even in this hyper-connected world of connection requests and follows, there's a societal nostalgia for a simpler time when it was easier to connect in-person.

But plans often don't materialize because of the current methods we use to plan meetups, due to the work and waiting it takes to suggest, schedule, and confirm plans.

Founder / CEO of Aidoo

As a 1st gen Korean immigrant in constant search of ways to make things better, I've become a founder to lead our mission - to create a more connected, in-person world by building online connections with offline experience.

Aidoo first started when I moved to the Bay during the pandemic, and I wished there was a way for me to find new friends over shared hobbies and new locations for me to explore.

And then as I began to make new connections, I found that it was difficult to for me to maintain these connections in real life, as our schedules began to get busier and more hectic.

Aidoo is the app I wish could give to my younger self - an easier way to meet up IRL with your friends, loved ones, and your network, without the work & waiting.
